~ Union #75 - January 31, 2010 ~

Rev. Brother "Shep" Whitener age 92 received his 60 year service award on Sunday January 31 at Oakmont of Union. A life member of Union Masonic Lodge # 75. Brother "Shep" was an active member as long as his health permitted. The 60 year award is presented by the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina and it is an award that few receive since a Brother would have to be at least 81 years old to be eligible. Tollison and Gregory presented the award as representatives of the Grand Lodge.
